GENERAL PURPOSE 
The Digital Marketing Manager is responsible for executing the digital marketing strategy and prioritizing projects and initiatives for the digital marketing team. They oversee the day-to-day support of web marketing projects and initiatives, email programs, and optimization activities (SEO, Campaign, and Customer Journey) on LegrandAV.com. Additionally, they are responsible for overseeing the content optimization efforts for professional/B2B partner websites and eCommerce platforms. The position is responsible for providing digital marketing campaign support to help achieve business and marketing goals, drive website traffic, generate leads and create sales demand for Legrand | AV. 

 
DUTIES AND ACCOUNTABILITIES

Digital Marketing

• Experience driving eCommerce revenue through product merchandising, content optimization, and on-site search

• Engage with sales and marketing in the lead management and lead generation initiatives in 2024 and beyond.

• Provide strategic direction for email marketing programs, marketing automation & campaigns that improve the effectiveness of these tactics. 
• Manage efforts for on-page and technical SEO, focusing on Google page rankings and driving incremental Organic traffic to Legrandav.com
• Work with the Digital team to identify new website features or enhancements focusing on improving self-service.
• Identify opportunities to leverage existing tools for future needs, unlocking platforms and software already in our tech stack
• Develop relationships with internal stakeholders (i.e. Customer Care) who rely on the web for day-today support of their work.
• With goal/objective guidance from the Product and/or Channel teams, oversee the strategy, execution and results of digital advertising efforts across search, social, email, etc. overseeing an agency and/or contract labor as needed.
• Identify tools and/or platforms necessary to test and measure digital efforts.
• Provide thought leadership and guidance to the broader marketing teams on how digital products and processes are evolving in ways that might present new challenges and/or opportunities.

Optimization & Data Governance
• Oversee the merchandising efforts on Legrandav.com and partner sites within Legrand | AV’s professional channels.
• Oversee the content optimization efforts on Legrandav.com and partner sites within Legrand | AV’s professional channels.
• Review analytics data to measure the effectiveness of digital marketing campaigns and make adjustments when necessary. 
• Spearhead the Sitecore Marketing Applications effort for Legrandav.com
• Manage a team of eCommerce Merchandising specialists.

Management & Collaboration
• Manage the digital marketing budget and planning process.
• Oversee the analytics dashboards related to Digital Marketing & eCommerce
• Develop annual business plans and setting goals for the team to meet those goals.
• Manage a team including direct report and contractors, driving and inspiring them by providing clear developmental goals, positivity, and a depth of channel, market, and strategic knowledge. 
• Provide data necessary to support division and marketing dashboards, identifying opportunities to utilize Business intelligence for consolidated performance reporting and data visualization

JOB REQUIREMENTS 
Essential Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required:
• Strategic digital marketing planning and execution
• CMS experience- preferably Sitecore
 Some experience in HTML
 eCommerce experience
 Experience with a/b testing.
 Experience in lead management processes.
 Experience with 3rd party utilities such as search and configurators.
 Personalization experience or training- preferably Sitecore Experience Center applications
 Experience with marketing automation (e.g. Eloqua, Marketo, Pardot), Salesforce.com (SFDC), SEO software (e.g. SEM Rush) and other marketing tools and technologies.
• Project management proficiency; comfortable handling multiple projects and initiatives, prioritizing and meeting deadlines. 
• Excellent communication both verbal, written & presentation skills 
• Strong interpersonal and leadership skills; ability to effectively interface at all levels. 
• Strong listening skills and ability to translate trends, competitive insights, tools and intel into actionable marketing recommendations. 
• Experience in web merchandising.
• Budget management
• General understanding of a digital marketing technology stack
• Highly organized, with a strong attention to detail
• Experience Managing People; ability to manage others in order to develop their marketing skills and help them execute marketing strategies.
• Advanced understanding of digital marketing practices and principals
• Strong knowledge of Google Analytics, Google Search Console and website conversion metrics (CPM, CTR, CPC, CPL)
• Extensive knowledge of SEO best practices, trends, search engine algorithms, ranking strategies, and the tools used to research these areas, provide reporting, and evaluate competitors.
• Strong analytical skills to effectively evaluate and communicate metrics and impact of digital initiatives.
 
Minimum Education and Experience Required: 
• BA in Marketing, Communications or related field with 7 years’ experience in digital marketing, product marketing and/or brand and content marketing; or a combination of relevant education and experience
• Minimum 1 year people/multifunctional team management

 
Preferred Qualifications: 
• Masters degree in Marketing, Communications or related field 
• Design thinking experience/exposure 
• AV industry and/or channel experience
 
WORKING CONDITIONS/PHYSICAL DEMANDS 
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required (for the majority of the working day) to sit and make coordinated movements of the fingers for using a keyboard 
• General office environment 
• May require occasional ground travel to other company facilities within local metropolitan area 
• Long-distance or air travel as needed – not to exceed 10% travel
