 DO YOU ALIGN WITH THESE KEY QUALIFICATIONS?
  • Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering, concrete/construction management, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a Quality management role, preferably in precast or concrete
  • Strong understanding of quality specifications and standards, including ASTM, ACI and other relevant guidelines
  • Demonstrate proficiency in reading and comprehending blueprints and project plans.
  • Exhibit the capability to plan and allocate resources effectively and strategically.
  • Showcase strong communication, organizational, and project management skills.
  • Must be adept at working independently. 

WHAT WILL YOUR SUCCESS LOOK LIKE? As the Quality Manager, you will oversee quality assurance at their precast manufacturing plants, ensuring efficient production of high-quality products. Responsibilities include managing all quality control facets and establishing and sustaining corrective measures to prevent rework and non-compliance. Collaboration with the Head of Design and other leaders is essential to guaranteeing adherence to industry norms and regulatory mandates. WHAT WILL YOU DO?   
  • Streamlined responsibilities for leading employees in quality control training, managing equipment performance, and enhancing testing methods. 
  • Oversee pre-pour and post-pour inspections, ensuring rebar placement and dimensional tolerances are met. 
  • Collaborate with production teams to optimize reliability and minimize costs. 
  • Coordinate daily quality control activities, including fresh concrete tests and segment inspections. 
  • Address appearance and quality issues in the yard, working with production to enhance overall quality. 
  • Maintain records of materials received and segments produced. 
  • Direct inspections and testing to control materials, facilities, and products.
  • Prepare for PCI audits, participate in plant visits, and contribute to plant tours when required by the Operations Manager. 
  • Develop and implement a streamlined Quality Management system, including procedures, performance metrics, and communication standards. 
  • Establish a corrective action workflow system to address quality or service issues. 
  • Design reports and scorecards for timely and actionable information. 
  • Conduct internal audits to ensure compliance with standards and processes.
