We are looking for a  Resident Assistant  to join senior care & living team in Minneapolis, MN This direct care position is responsible for providing personal cares and designated health-related services, passing medications to enhance and/or maintain the senior age residents’ physical and emotional wellbeing. This caregiver schedule includes;

64 hours every two weeks Full time, day shifts Includes every other weekend & holiday Benefit Eligible: (Paid Time Off, Retirement, Cash Out Wages Before Payday with our New Benefit of Early Wage Access)

Responsibilities/Job Description

Assists residents with personal cares including but not limited to: bathing, shaving, dressing, hair care, feeding, toileting, and transfers/lifts. Under direction of Nurse, provides health related services as needed such as; passing medication, glucose monitoring, temperatures, blood pressure, and pulse. May perform duties that include: laundry, cleaning, meal service, and assisting with activities. Observes residents and reports status to appropriate staff Serves as a mandated reporter and reports any concerns regarding potential mistreatment  Assists with onboarding of new staff

Qualifications

Required:

Must be 18 years of age or CNA certification required if under 18 Excellent customer service skills and proficiency, teamwork and positive demeanor Desire to work with seniors Ability to interact compassionately and communicate effectively with residents and staff

Preferred:

High School diploma or GED Completion of a formal CNA or HHA course Previous caretaking experience
