Event Athletic Trainer, Ripken Pigeon Forge

Position Summary:
Provides athletic training services for a specified location on behalf of LeConte Medical Center. Ideal candidate possesses the experience, the decision-making ability, and clinical skills to make treatment assessments based on quick injury evaluation.
Responsibilities Provides athletic training services for a specified location as part of LeConte Sports Medicine’s community outreach program. Demonstrates and executes the required skills and knowledge by responding to emergency medical situations, rendering an analysis on the situation/injury, and administering appropriate medical care. Maintains accurate records of injuries and treatments, and provides reporting feedback in a timely manner. Completes all documentation and reports in a timely manner. Follows policies, procedures, and safety standards. Completes required education assignments annually. Works toward achieving goals and objectives, and participates in quality improvement initiatives as requested. Performs other duties as assigned. QualificationsMinimum Education:
None specified; however, must be sufficient to meet the standards for achievement of the below indicated license and/or certification as required by the issuing authority.

None
Licensure Requirement:
Must have and maintain Tennessee State licensure as an athletic trainer and Board of Certification (BOC) certification for the Athletic Trainer. CPR/BLS certifications preferred.
