Job Summary:
The Maintenance Person at La Quinta Inn & Suites By Wyndham Seattle Sea-Tac Airport is responsible for ensuring the cleanliness, functionality, and safety of the hotel's facilities and equipment.
As a key member of our team, the Maintenance Person will work closely with other departments to ensure that guests have a comfortable and enjoyable stay at our hotel.
This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the hospitality/restaurant industry, located in Seattle, Washington.

Compensation & Benefits:
The compensation for this role is $25 per hour, paid semi-monthly.

Responsibilities:
-Maintain the overall cleanliness and appearance of the hotel by performing routine and deep cleaning tasks in guest rooms, public areas, and back of house areas
-Conduct regular inspections of guest rooms and common areas to identify and address maintenance issues
-Perform repairs and maintenance tasks such as changing light bulbs, fixing plumbing issues, and repairing furniture and equipment
-Assist with the upkeep and maintenance of the hotel's landscaping and outdoor areas
-Maintain and organize inventory of supplies and equipment
-Respond promptly and effectively to guest requests and concerns
-Follow all safety procedures and ensure that all equipment is properly maintained and utilized
-Report any maintenance or safety issues to the management team
-Communicate and work closely with other departments to ensure guest satisfaction and a seamless guest experience

Requirements:
-High school diploma or equivalent
-Previous experience in a maintenance role, preferably in a hospitality or customer service environment
-Knowledge of basic maintenance procedures and techniques
-Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively
-Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization
-Excellent communication and customer service skills
-Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks such as bending, kneeling, and climbing
-Flexibility to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and holidays
-Valid driver's license and reliable transportation to and from work
-Able to pass a background check and drug screening
