Position Overview

The Department of Computer Science and Engineering is accepting applications for Semester Senior Lecturer appointment(s) (temporary position; less than 30hrs a week) to teach undergraduate and/or graduate course(s) in the Department of Computer Science and Engineering for Fall/Spring/Summer semester. Hours will vary, pending course(s) available. Duties include but are not limited to: holding office hours; grading assignments and submitting grades; may participate in curriculum development and course coordination.

All courses are taught in person on the University’s main campus in Columbus, Ohio.

Education and Experience Requirements

Master’s degree or equivalent  Strong written and verbal communication skills  Strong interpersonal skills  A commitment to or demonstrated efforts in teaching that reflect Ohio State’s Shared Values. Experience teaching in a learning setting including, but not limited to, K-12 classroom experience or higher education teaching as an instructor of record or graduate teaching assistant.
