Where you'll work:

Our Rhinelander, WI location, a Union Facility, is part of our Taste and Smoke division nestled in the beautiful Northwoods. We are responsible for the production of many base products in smoke flavoring needs for Kerry customers and brands. This site is one of five Smoke Flavoring Facilities within the Kerry organization People may not realize we're more than just great taste when it comes to food and beverage products - we truly are committed to nutrition and sciences as well

We have an immediate opening for a Day Shift Maintenance Technician. The schedule 6:00am to 6:00pm, this is a 4 on 4 off rotating schedule. 

The starting wage for this role is $26.02 - $36.32 /hr This position may also be eligible for a shift differential and/or overtime. What you'll do:

You’ll work with the Maintenance team to complete building repairs, equipment installation, troubleshooting and installation, fulfillment of assigned work orders and unforeseen repairs in a timely fashion. You’ll follow good manufacturing practices to maintain inventory, preventative maintenance, good housekeeping and ensure compliance with all safety and environmental laws and regulations. Important areas of operations you’ll work on (but are not limited to):

Clean and lubricate shafts, bearing, gears, and other parts of machinery. Install and maintain pipe systems, hydraulic steam, pneumatic equipment. Repair and replace gauges, valves, pressure regulators, pumps, mechanical seals and other related equipment. Building maintenance including minor plumbing, welding, and general upkeep

What you'll need to be successful in this role:

Certification of Vocational School, Journeyman card in Millwright or Maintenance Technician preferred. 2-5 years' experience in manufacturing within a maintenance related position preferred. Possess and demonstrate basic technical knowledge of some or all of the following: Stainless Steel Welding/Fabrication Piping systems PLC’s (Programmable logic controllers) – a plus Process equipment Personal Computing
