Summary

Automotive Service Technicians quickly and efficiently perform routine maintenance and identify the cause of breakdowns and repair them using the most optimal solutions.

Responsibilities

Performing work specified on maintenance and repair orders with efficiency and in accordance with dealership and/or manufacturer standards Diagnosing, maintaining and repairing vehicle automotive systems including engine, transmission, electrical, steering, suspension, braking, air conditioning, etc. to specification Executing repairs under warranty to manufacturer specifications Test-driving vehicles and testing components and systems using diagnostic tools and special service equipment Providing labor and time estimates for additional automotive repairs Explaining mechanical diagnoses and required repairs in a non-technical manner to service advisors and customers Continuously learning new technical information and techniques in formal training sessions in order to stay abreast with rapidly changing technology. Inspecting and testing new vehicles and recording findings so that necessary repairs can be made

Qualifications

Qualifications

Previous Dealership experience preferred ASE and/or manufacturer certifications a plus Automotive background Teamwork skills Must have clean & valid driver's license
