Position Type: Full-Time and Part-Time Security Officers

Tentative Start Date: ASAP

Shift Type: Varies

Pay rate: $11.00- $15.00 / hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION

  • Must complete State of Georgia 24-hour basic security officer course within six months of hiring
  • Must complete applicable Safety & Environmental Rules training
  • Conduct of routine patrols in and around building using Lighthouse
  • Interact with residents, visitors, staff, and public in a professional, but friendly manor
  • Investigate and handle disturbances and, as needed, obtain police and law enforcement assistance.

QUALIFICATIONS

  • At least 18 years of age or older.
  • High school education or equivalent (GED)
  • Pass an extensive screening process

                              

PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:

  • Attention to detail is a plus.
  • 1-year unarmed security experience preferred, but not required.
