Overview:The Medical Unit at St. Catherine Hospital specializes in general medical and surgical patient care and is a 48-bed unit. We treat adult patients that are 16 years and older needing medical or surgical intervention with no overflow from other departments. We are a desirable department because we value teamwork and collaboration. Patient safety and experience is a priority as well as associate job satisfaction. We look for energetic, reliable and hard-working candidates to join our team.
Job Summary:
Facilitates, communicates and collaborates with the RN to identify and meet the physical and emotional needs of the patient. Assists with the nursing process to promote/restore optimal health and well-being of the patient. Assumes personal accountability for organizational mission and core values. Demonstrates accountability for the quality of own nursing practice. Performs a wide variety of patient care activities and accommodative services as assigned.

Two Years of recent LPN experience preferred
License/Certification Requirements:
KS LPN license
BLS from the American Heart Association
IV Therapy Certification-required upon hire or within 3 months of hire
