About The Position
CT Technologist Job Description:

We're hiring a CT Technologist for our Radiology Department at Cheyenne River Health Center in Eagle Butte, South Dakota. You'll operate Toshiba CT equipment, performing scans on patients during rotating 8-12 hour shifts over a two-week period (80 hours total).

Responsibilities:
  • Conduct CT scans using Toshiba equipment with patient safety and comfort in mind.
  • Verify patient identities and explain procedures.
  • Assist in training department staff on CT procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and follow radiation protection practices.
  • Participate in ongoing education and training on radiation safety.
  • Keep the work area clean and report equipment issues.

Requirements:
  • Current ARRT Certification for CT.
  • Highly proficient in using Toshiba CT equipment.
  • Previous CT Technologist experience preferred.
  • Knowledge of radiation safety in the Radiology environment.
  • Strong communication and detail-oriented skills.
  • Willingness to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.

Start Date: September 1, 2023

Certifications: Must have current and valid ARRT Certification for CT before starting work.
