Title – Senior Associate Test Technician / IT Technician
Location - Secaucus, NJ
Duration - 6 months contract to hire
Client: Multinational Organization / Global Technology Company
About the Role:
· Install, test, and update computer equipment (computers, servers, peripherals, programs, and software/firmware).
· Ensure the maintenance, administration, and security of hardware.
· Write procedures and various technical documents.
· Troubleshoot thermal and/or airflow issues.
· Perform server wind tunnel and chamber test
What You Bring:
· Associate degree in Electronics, Certificate of Completion of Technical School or equivalent experience in a related discipline.
· Minimum 2 years of an engineering test, tech support or relevant experiences.
· Experience within the computer hardware environment.
· Experience with troubleshooting equipment
· Proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
· Working with Client x86-based computer systems.
· Operating systems (Windows, Linux).
· Good soldering skills are a plus.
· Effective troubleshooting skills.
· Ability to adapt and work independently.
