Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Assist with strategy development and execution, planning, and facilitation of district projects Assist with planning, implementation, and on-going maintenance of Leadership Development program management and development Use all phases of instructional systems design methodologies (ADDIE) and follows/promotes best practices in the design, development and delivery of the district’s workforce development curriculum Identify and negotiate resources required to deliver training and development sessions, to include securing and managing vendors, procurement activities, strategic sourcing, program marketing, and internal communications Consult on performance, leadership and talent development initiatives and engage in individual development planning and career pathways for employees Develop and review measurements, assessments and evaluations to ensure learning and development efficacy Produce periodic reports outlining learning and development goals and results achieved Remain current on best practices related to performance management, learning and development, and career management issues, practices and delivery methods Participate in cross-functional teams to consult and advise on workforce performance and development issues Support leadership on development, organizational, and leadership matters Supervisory Responsibilities None

Bachelor's degree Minimum of 3 years in program development, teaching and/or facilitation preferred Minimum of 1 year leadership Strong logistical, planning and coordination skills Ability to perform in depth research and communicate results effectively Strong customer service orientation and satisfaction in providing assistance Ability to manage multiple projects and tasks simultaneously Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic and growing work environment Ability to work independently and as part of a team Ability to problem solve and effectively communicate Proficient in Microsoft Office software including ACCESS, Excel, Word and PowerPoint; must have the capacity to quickly learn additional programs Efficient organizational skills, attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Effective oral and written communication skills and the ability to interact effectively with the public and District staff and senior management Multi-media authoring tools preferred Performance measuring, multimedia, curriculum and course development preferred Broad knowledge of instructional design models preferred Physical Requirements/Working Conditions

Work involves everyday risks and discomforts which require normal safety precautions when operating equipment or performing job duties. May work prolonged or irregular hours and must be able to maintain emotional control under stress.
