Under the direction of the Administrator (HFA), the Assistant Administrator assists in directing the day-to-day functions of the facility in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern the long term care facility, and as may be directed by Administrator, to assure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times. As the Assistant Administrator, you are delegated the administrative authority, responsibility, and accountability necessary for carrying out your assigned duties. In the temporary absence of the Medical Director or Administrator, you are charged with carrying out the resident care policies established by this facility.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum of 2 years previous Long Term Care Nursing Home experience required.
- Must be currently licensed as a Nursing Home Administrator or have completed an AIT program.
- Must be able to work under pressure and independently.
- Must be able to pass finger print based criminal background check.
- Must be a people person with strong communication skills.
- Must be computer literate
