Responsibilities

Central Florida Behavioral Hospital is a -bed, private psychiatric center located in Orlando, FL. The hospital provides -hour emergency services. Central Florida Behavioral Hospital offers a full continuum of care including inpatient treatment services for children, adolescents and adults; and partial hospitalization, intensive out-patient and ECT services for adults. Our treatment philosophy is based on a team approach that treats patients with dignity and respect, while delivering high-quality care.

Position Summary

The Admissions Mental Health Technician is responsible for ensuring the safety of patients in the Intake Department and assisting the Intake Department otherwise, as needed.

Job Duties/Respnsibilities

Patient Observation and Monitoring Facilitating Therapeutic Groups Conducting Searches and Securing Contraband Assisting with Daily Living Skills Patient Behavior and Milieu Management Documentation in the Patient Record

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent required. Bachelor’s Degree preferred Two years experience working in a psychiatric setting preferred.  CPR (May be acquired after hire) Effective Oral and Written Communication Skills Team work
