Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Machine Shop Supervisor to join our team for the 3rd shift at our facility in Plaistow, NH. As a Machine Shop Supervisor, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the production process and ensuring the smooth operation of our machine shop.

Responsibilities

Supervise and coordinate the activities of machine shop employees during the 3rd shiftPerform mechanical troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues with machinesSet up machines for production runs according to specificationsMonitor production processes to ensure quality standards are metTrain and mentor machine shop staff to improve performance and efficiencyMaintain a safe working environment and enforce safety regulationsCollaborate with other supervisors and managers to optimize production schedules

Qualifications

Demonstrated experience in mechanical troubleshootingProven ability to set up machines for production runsStrong leadership and communication skillsAbility to work effectively in a fast-paced environmentPrevious experience in a machine shop or manufacturing environment preferredHigh school diploma or equivalent required; technical degree a plus
