*This position is an in-office position located in our Community Support and Development Office in Beachwood, Ohio.*

POSITION SUMMARY:
The Billing/Medicaid Specialist supports and develops the Business Office staff of the community to ensure the timely and accurate revenue cycle billing process. Develop, Support and Assist Community in relation to Business Office function while adhering to all applicable legal requirements, standards, policies and procedures.
Responsibilities/Qualifications:
- This is an in-office position in our Beachwood, Ohio location
- Generate, submit and follow up on claims
- Creates timely, accurate update of collection notes
- Understanding of Medicaid & Medicare
- Analyze and resolve balances on accounts
- Skilled in the Microsoft Office suite of tools including Outlook, Word, Excel
- Exceptional math and problem solving skills
- Detail oriented with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
- High school diploma or equivalent, some college preferred
- Ability to communicate in a positive manner, with tact, professionally, and efficiently with communities, management, agencies as well as other members of the Company
Experience:
- Must have at least 2 years experience in long-term care/skilled nursing billing experience
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience using Matrix preferred
- Medicaid experience required
Shifts and Wages:
- Full-Time Opportunity
- Shift Needed: Monday-Friday (Flexible hours)
