Position Summary:
Performs the primary functions of a Professional Registered Respiratory Therapist in assessing, planning, implementing, educating, and evaluating a designated group of patients in accordance with established Respiratory Care Standards, Hospital and Departmental Policies. Manages all rehab supplies, and equipment in the hospital. Is responsible for providing leadership and resources for respiratory patient education, training, discharge planning, and procurement of home care equipment. Responsible for promoting teamwork with all members of the healthcare team. Performs duties in a manner consistent with St. Luke’s mission and values.
Education, Experience, & Licensing Requirements:
Education: Associate’s degree in Respiratory Care required, Bachelors preferred.
Licensure: Current licensure by the State of Missouri as a Registered Respiratory Care Practitioner.
