Job Description:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech to join our healthcare team in Evansville, IN. As an IR Tech, you will assist radiologists in performing minimally invasive procedures using imaging guidance. Your role is crucial in ensuring accurate imaging and optimal patient care.

Responsibilities:

  • Assist in various interventional radiology procedures such as angiograms, biopsies, and drain placements.
  • Prepare and maintain the sterile field and instruments.
  • Operate and troubleshoot imaging equipment (e.g., fluoroscopy, CT, MRI).
  • Monitor patient vital signs and provide care throughout the procedure.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort before, during, and after procedures.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and document procedural details.
  • Adhere to radiation safety guidelines and protocols.

Requirements:

  • ARRT certification in Radiologic Technology and Interventional Radiology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in interventional radiology or a related field.
  • Proficiency in operating imaging equipment and understanding of interventional procedures.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
