Military Forces Analyst

This position requires an active TS/SCI security clearance with the ability to obtain a Counterintelligence Polygraph

Cherokee Analytics is seeking qualified individuals to serve as Military Forces Analyst to support INDOPACOM. The Military Forces Analyst conducts all-source analytic production on foreign military forces order of battle, but not limited to, foreign military organizations, command structure, strategy and doctrine, capabilities, equipment, operations and exercise, facilities, sustainment, leadership, and force disposition.

Military Forces Analyst Responsibilities Include: 

Provides all source intelligence analysis and collection, assembling all available PACOM AOR relevant information, data, and knowledge obtained from multiple intelligence disciplines, especially imagery in situational awareness and in-depth knowledge (, Foundational Intelligence) on order of battle data.  Produces foundational intelligence products and updates appropriate intelligence databases Supply guidance in selecting, designing, and applying analytic methodologies.  Uses argument evaluation and validated analytic methodologies to challenge differing perspectives. Performs other job-related duties as assigned

Military Forces Analyst Experience, Education, Skills, Abilities requested: 

Minimum of eight () years of relevant experience with a portion of that experience within the last two () years. Experience providing regional All Source intelligence support for the AOR  Has comprehensive mission knowledge and skills that affirms completion of all developmental training and experiences for the labor category. Ability to communicate understanding from information that may be incomplete, indirect, highly complex, seemingly unrelated, and / or technically advanced. Ability to structure analysis based on trends in reporting and a range of analytic perspectives from other analysts, organizations, and intelligence disciplines. Able to work independently with minimal oversight and direction. Collaborate and work with other IC members on information sharing, driving collection, and addressing analytic disputes and conflict resolution. Demonstrates ability to develop concise, insightful, and comprehensive products for defense intelligence. Demonstrates ability to lead teams in researching multifaceted or critical problems. Active TS/SCI - must be willing and able to obtain CI Polygraph Preferred Bachelor's degree in an area related to the responsibilities and requirements of the Military Forces Analyst position from a college or university accredited by an agency recognized by the Department of Education. Preferred but not required - Foreign language (Chinese, Korean and/or Japanese) reading and listening capabilities. Must pass pre-employment qualifications of Cherokee Federal
