This position actively analyzes the work environment, local culture, and policies to continuously improve Health and Safetyperformance on site. This position inspects the workplace foradherence to regulations on safety and health. They help design,implement, train employees, and audit versus compliance on programs to preventinjury and/or disease. Position may additionally travel up to another 10% to supportother site audits and/or turnarounds. Some specific jobresponsibilities include, but are not limited to: 
TEAMS
Lead Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC) Meetings (monthly)
Member of local Management Team
Coordinate and Lead Emergency Response Team (ERT) activity (drills, critiques,training, equipment inspections, etc)

Encourage Health & Wellness (H&W) Team
FIELD PRESENCE
Daily Field Audits such as BBS, LCPs, My Check target time infield. Recognize positive behaviors and/or hazardous situations, and providefeedback.

US Coast Guard MTSA / FSO Training preferred
Must well versed in MS PowerPoint, Word, Excel, & Outlook. SAP experience aplus.

Minimum Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required - Bachelor’s degree ( from four-yearcollege or university preferred
5+ years of manufacturing experience (chemical plant / refinery experience orsimilar industrial setting preferred)
2+ years Health & Safety experience required
