The Financial Analyst will be responsible for the organization, preparation, and distribution of financial and operational reports, ongoing trend and variance analysis, and assisting with the annual budget for properties as assigned. Financial and operational reports include but are not limited to Guest Survey, Marketing, Activity, Retail, and Month-End reporting responsibilities.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Ensure accurate and consistent distribution of assigned daily, weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual financial and operational reporting. Guest Survey Activity/Pace Marketing/Guest Demographic Reporting Retail/E-commerce Reporting Company Financial Summaries Company Forecasts Collaborate with operational teams and assist as needed during the month-end process to ensure accuracy in GL. Review and approval of COGS expenses in the month-end cycle; ensure adherence to company standards in inventory processes. Ongoing and frequent financial and operational analysis; reporting data and insight into trends to leadership as appropriate. Develop ad-hoc reporting on company initiatives as needed. Develop new static Financial, Sales, or KPI reports as needed. Assist in the annual budgeting process as needed. Support the Director of Finance with special projects and analysis as needed.

To perform the essential functions of this position, regular and consistent attendance is required.

Must be able to work well with other Team Members, Managers and interact with our guests.

Systems: Sage BizInsight Tableau Sales Force Opera Property Management System Resort Suite Optimum Control Retail Management Software Intermediate Excel Skills Intermediate PowerPoint Skills

LANGUAGE SKILLS

Must be able to communicate with ALL Team Members in a professional and courteous manner. Excellent communication and writing skills and a professional appearance are required.

MATHEMATICAL SKILLS

Intermediate Math and Excel skills

REASONING ABILITY

Must be able to exercise judgment and make decisions that will impact the financial well-being of the company.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

General Office Must be able to sit at a computer for long periods Must be able to be on your feet for extended periods when conducting inventories and other on-property tasks.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

General Office Some Travel to NC may be required (1 or fewer trips a month)

HOURS:

Monday – Friday – 8 am – 5 pm On occasion, some weekends and/or evenings as required by hotel occupancy or as needed to handle weekend emergencies.
