Requirements (E):

Position: Software Engineer

Duties: Deliver the next generation high-volume, fault-tolerant, and scalable transaction processing system. Recommend adjustments to resolve software issues, improve the functionality of existing software, and ensure that the design, application, and maintenance of software meets the quality standards of the company. Deliver high-performance software solutions, which include design, code, and debug software. Train other engineers and recommend new technologies that increase productivity. Supervise and oversee the technical aspects of projects, and work hand in hand with Solution Architects to build solutions. Perform and scale statistics of each solution. Ensure product is delivered to market on schedule, and work closely with Operations and Support staff to ensure production hand-off post-release. Integrate front-end applications with server-side code and Web Services/APIs. Support an agile approach and operate as a core member of an Agile Scrum team, including interfacing with key business representatives. Participate in all Scrum ceremonies including daily stand-ups, iteration planning, iteration demos, and retrospective.

Education Required: Master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Information Systems, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field.

Experience Required: 3 years of experience as Software Engineer, Development Architect, or related occupation.

Special Requirements: Must have at least 1 year of prior work experience in each of the following:

1. Designing and developing techniques for sensitive data identification and dynamic data protection for high-volume, fault-tolerant, and scalable software solutions.

2. Developing frameworks for enabling role-based authorization for enterprise products using Java and JEE technologies.

3. Developing Information Life Cycle Management products using distributed systems, cloud computing, and REST-based services.

4. Working with open-source frameworks using Spring and Hibernate.

5. Performance testing, JVM fine tuning, and optimizing application performance in distributed systems and cloud environments for financial institutions and applications.

6. Working with Agile or Scrum environments and collaborating with cross-functional teams for the successful delivery of software projects.

Salary: $180,960 to $298,040 per year
