About Us: We are a busy couple who split our time between our serene 10,000 square foot home in New Ringgold, PA, and bustling Manhattan. With two older children away at college and a small, friendly dog, our home needs the care and attention of a dedicated full-time housekeeper. We are looking for someone who can help us maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment.

The Ideal Candidate: We are seeking a reliable, self-directed, and detail-oriented housekeeper with a positive attitude and a passion for making our lives easier. You should be comfortable managing household tasks independently, overseeing workers, and ensuring our home is always in pristine condition. A love for pets and a pleasant, fun personality are essential.

Responsibilities:

  • General cleaning and maintenance of a 10,000 square foot home, including vacuuming, dusting, and cleaning bathrooms.
  • Maintain bedding by washing and drying sheets and duvets.
  • Oversee workers who come to the house, ensuring they respect the property and complete their tasks efficiently.
  • Manage relationships with dry cleaners, appliance repair professionals, and exterminators.
  • Perform laundry duties for two adults and two older children when they are home from college.
  • Ensure the home is well-supplied with paper goods and other essentials.
  • Simple meal preparation on days when we commute back from NYC, including some meal prep (chopping, etc.).
  • Grocery shopping to ensure the house is stocked with food upon our return from NYC.

Requested Duration: We are looking for a long-term hire who will become a valued member of our household.

Compensation:

  • $30 to $40 per hour, depending on experience
  • Insurance stipend provided if needed

Schedule:

  • Monday through Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM
