WORK OBJECTIVE

Performs difficult technical and administrative work overseeing the operation and maintenance of the cemetery; does related work as required. Work is performed under general supervision. Supervision is exercised over subordinate semiskilled personnel.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Associate degree in supervision and park management related subjects, and four (4) years of
administrative-level supervisory experience in cemetery or parks operations and maintenance, 
supplemented by two years of experience in facility and grounds operations, administration, and/or 
maintenance; or an equivalent combination of education, certification, training, and/or experience. 
Must have National Incident Management System (NIMS) certification (level to be determined by job 
classification requirements) or obtain within one year of employment. Must have a valid Florida 
driver’s license and maintain a satisfactory driving record throughout employment.
Bachelor's Degree in business management, public administration, or a related field preferred.

In addition to meeting the minimum qualifications listed above, an individual must be able to
perform each of the established essential functions to perform this job successfully.

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

Applicants who demonstrate they meet the minimum requirements may be subject to an extensive selection process and screening program, which may include, but not be limited to, evaluation of training and experience background investigation; medical evaluation; controlled substance screen.
