MDS/PDPM Regional Director
Job Description:
To plan, organize and direct the MDS process in accordance with federal and state standards, guidelines, and regulations governing our facility. RN
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and document the management of the Medicare, HMO and Managed Care residents in collaboration with facility team members.
- Maintain and update schedules of MDS’s.
- Oversee the coordination and participate in the completion of the Resident Assessment Instrument (MDS, CAA’s and Care Plan)
- Assist in completion of the Resident Assessment with the Interdisciplinary Team.
- Assure that MDS, RAI process and Care plans are completed and transmitted timely.
- Assist in audits, denials and ADRs as requested by CES.
Requirements/Qualifications:
- Valid license as a Registered Nurse
- 5+ years of nursing experience in similar setting.
- 3+ years of experience as a MDS Coordinator.
- RAC-CT or RNAC preferred.
