Responsibilities

Specific responsibilities:

Cargo Hold Cleanliness Supervision and Inspections for mineral and grain cargoes Draft Surveys to determine cargo quantity loaded/discharged Vessel On and Off Hire surveys (condition & bunkers) Liquid Cargo Quantity Surveying Cargo Sampling P&I inspections FSI inspection Vessel’s safety inspection Port captaincy and loading supervision Various other marine surveys

Requirements

Essential requirements:

Must be a US citizen or demonstrate the right to live and work in the US Valid US Driver’s Licence A Masters Mariner Unlimited Licence or Marine Chief Valid TWIC or the ability to obtain

Required Skills:

Excellent written and verbal communication skills Strong computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Office – MS Word, MS Excel and MS Outlook Ability to perform physically demanding work activities Bulk Carrier Experience advantageous
