We are seeking a n experienced VP with strong media planning & client service chops to lead a service delivery team.

Closed Loop has been in business for over years, has been profitable since inception, and is very well-capitalized. We are founder-owned, fiercely independent, and stacked with amazingly talented people. This is an opportunity for the right person to join a values-based organization and a mature high-functioning executive team to drive an already successful agency to new heights.

This can be a fully remote position ( Only) or an in-office/hybrid position for those who live in the Greater Sacramento Area.

You will:

Manage a team of advertising directors and managers to manage a portfolio of clients challenging them to think expansively and strategically Develop and lead media strategies for clients, delivering compelling business cases for investing their media dollars Use competitive intelligence and research tools to present strategic insights and recommendations for key clients Provide proactive leadership including coaching to excellence on all media/digital strategies Troubleshoot team and client problem areas and suggest effective courses of action, demonstrating grace in challenging internal/external scenarios Stay ahead of industry trends, digital tools, and platforms and know how they are most effectively used to achieve business goals Set a developmental plan for each member of the team and work on goal development. Complete performance evaluation. Work with VP Marketing to establish and communicate agency POVs Maintain strategic oversight of client performance, consulting with team and client as needed to set goals, surface key insights, and drive prioritization of efforts Assist with new business audits Foster team collaboration including sharing tests, results, challenges, and wins, as well as ensuring certifications are kept up to date Develop training plans for new employees in conjunction with SVP Serve as a digital advertising expert that can be brought into specific clients and marketing/PR opportunities Ensure that the procedures in Closed Loop’s Information Security Policy are personally followed and that all company and client data personally accessed is properly secured
Report to the SVP of Client Services

You'll have:

-+ years of experience in digital advertising with at least years in an agency setting Strong track record in BB or technology or financial service accounts, understanding relevant client challenges and business trends for BB industry segments/products Exceptional leadership skills and management experience demonstrated through staff development and implementation of exemplary processes Excellent understanding of the media business and its day-to-day operations Technical understanding of ad-tech/mar-tech, social platforms, and research & measurement systems Strong presentation skills and propensity to share results externally Excellent track record of maintaining multiple client engagements at once and growing client business while encouraging diversification into multiple products and services Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Excellent organizational and communication skills Willingness to travel to client locations or main headquarters as needed (% of the time)

The salary range for this position is $k-$k/year, DOE.
