PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB

Manage commercial credit relationships in addition to some consumer mortgage and auto loans. Create and maintain close relationships with all parties involved in loan transactions while facilitating sales through the structuring of creative and appealing loan products.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND PERFORMANCE AREAS

Manage commercial and consumer lending relationships; Serve as a market/branch leader in loan production; Direct and implement business development activities for both new and assigned loan relationships; Analyze loan request primarily related to the assigned lending portfolio; May be relied on a source of information for lesser qualified consumer lenders; Oversee and, as required, manage the collection and legal actions for various loan relationships in concert with the Special Assets Administrator, Chief Lending Officer, Regional President, Market President, and Community Bank President; Participate in various bank loan committees as designated; Active in Community events of branches which may include assisting in planning and execution; Make recommendations to management regarding product improvement or changes; Mentor branch staff promoting an atmosphere of coaching and learning; and, Refer depository and other business lines from customer base to the Branch Retail Manager.

Qualifications

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Excellent sales, organizational, managerial and interpersonal skills; and, Excellent oral and written communication skills.

EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree in business or finance. (Sales/loan experience may be considered in lieu thereof.); and, Two to five years’ experience with lending or commensurate experience.
