Program Site Coordinator/School Age Child Care

Pay Grade: 53

QUALIFICATIONS: 

Child Care Credentials I and II and/or Early Childhood Associate Degree, and experiences in childcare or an equivalent combination or at least six months of education experience. 

BSAC Training 

Thorough knowledge of program requirements and operations. 

Ability to develop plans and program activities. 

Able to communicate effectively orally and in writing.  Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with administrators, program staff and parents. Possess basic bookkeeping and computer skills Must be willing and able to obtain bus driver license 

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Coordinate and supervise program.

Conduct Fire drills, tornado drills, etc (monthly)

Communicate with parent about payments, concerns, behavior, or changes made.

Maintain records of fee payments (collects and receipts fees)

Prepares daily deposits and monthly reports

Enroll children admitted to the program.

Complete BSAC (Basic School Age Care) withing 3 months of hire

Complete Playground Safety training.

Complete Child/Abuse/Neglect Training withing 3 mos of hire

On site at all times during program hours (within 8 hours)

Follow all DCDEE Licensing and school procedures.

Attend required hours of professional growth annually

Monitor staff files and sign up and log trainings for staff on site.

Responsible for turning in all timesheets for Site to Program Specialist.
