Seattle, United States Amazon.com Services LLC Full time
Looking to build high-scale Authentication and Authorization services within Amazon World Wide Operations Security? Passionate about protecting customer data? Come join us as we craft impactful products and great experiences across a wide surface of customers

Amazon’s mission is to be ‘Earth’s Most Customer-Centric Company’ and our team is an essential part of that mission. We enable Customer Service and other businesses with rigorous authentication of Customer Service Agents and retail customers to hold a high bar bar for securing access to customer data. This includes password-auth, token-based MFA, rules-based/fine-grained/contextual authorization, operations and governance systems. Our team lives in a multi-dimensional world of delivering for customers, addressing risks and continually making our products and experiences more secure.

We’re seeking Software Development Engineers to drive the next generation of authentication, solving problems for which there are no off-the-shelf solutions. In this role, you’ll be working with a group of strong engineers in pursuit of timely and secure authentication and authorization services on top of effective data sovereignty, compliance with regional privacy regulations, integration with a wide array of applications and services, and delivery of a fantastic customer experience.

Key job responsibilities
The team owns multiple high-availability, low-latency services (Tier-1) and hold ourselves accountable to rigorous service-level objectives and design & code quality standards. Our tech stack ranges across multiple AWS public offerings and includes Java, Python, Fargate, Typescript, DynamoDB, Lambdas, SQS, and more. We grow careers here — we look for every opportunity to get the correct work, complexity and challenges in front of team members so they can realize the growth they’re seeking.

About the team
CSIAM team places a premium on caring for each other and driving an optimal work/life balance — we work hard to deliver for customers, and we support each other closely to make sure we have time to enjoy friends, family and the fruits of our labor. We’re based in Seattle and support products, services and teams around the globe.
