Overview

Willits Veterinary Hospital , located in Basalt, Colorado, is looking for a full-time Associate Veterinarian to join our team 

About our clinic: Willits Veterinary Hospital is a full-service small animal practice, offering the best in medical and surgical care in Western Colorado We primarily treat dogs and cats but do provide care to a wide range of exotic patients as well. We provide emergency care, perform acupuncture, and provide chemotherapy treatments in addition to the general practice services we provide to our patients. Our doctors perform a variety of soft tissue surgeries, orthopedic surgeries, dentistry, and emergency surgeries. Our diagnostic equipment includes an in-house, digital radiography, digital dental radiography, ultrasound, and a CT scanner. We use Evet for our electronic medical record software. Most importantly, each doctor is well-supported by our fantastic team of technicians and veterinary assistants.

We have built a supportive staff culture based on the core values of honesty, compassion, competency, professionalism, and teamwork. Our mission is to provide the ultimate patient and client experience while delivering the highest standards of excellence in veterinary medicine and surgery.

The schedule that we are looking to fill would be a 4-day schedule and would include rotating Saturdays.

About Basalt, CO: Our practice is just a quick drive away from the Aspen and Snowmass ski slopes. We are located near beautiful rivers, hot springs, forests, and nestled near the mountains- perfect location for a nature lover There are incredible outdoor activities to take part-in including hiking, mountain biking, rafting, golfing, skiing, and other winter sports. There is wonderful local culture for art, live theater, and amazing restaurants in the quaint downtowns.
