Piper Companies  is currently looking for an experienced  Biochemist  in  West Point, Pennsylvania  (PA) to work for an innovative and growing pharmaceutical manufacturer.

Responsibilities for the Biochemist:

Utilize skills with SDS-Page, Elisa, Capillary Electrophoresis, and UV-VIS to assist in the production and development of vaccines Assist with endotoxin testing within the lab Support process Improvement projects such as standardization of test methods and the execution of test methods as well as assay validation/ qualification Perform deviation and OOS investigations and carry our experiments in support of these investigations Ensure compliance with regulations, guidelines and procedures

Qualifications for the Biochemist:

A minimum of 1 year of related experience Hands on experience using Capillary Electrophoresis, Elisa, SDS-Page and UV-Vis Experience conducting deviation and OOS investigation’s Technical writing experience preferred Bachelor’s degree in Biochemistry or related field

Compensation for the Biochemist:

Pay Rate: $35-40 Per Hour 1 Year Contract with possible extension Comprehensive benefit package; Cigna Medical, Cigna Dental, Vision, 401k w/ ADP
