Tappahannock, United States VCU Health Full time
In October 2020, VCU Health completed the acquisition of Riverside Tappahannock Hospital, marking a significant milestone. Today, VCU Tappahannock Hospital is dedicated to advancing healthcare within our community and neighboring counties, guided by VCU Health's commitment to excellence, affordability, and community impact. Situated in the idyllic Middle Peninsula, our hospital serves the Northern Neck region, renowned for its quaint charm and leisurely summers along the picturesque Rappahannock River.

While VCU Tappahannock Hospital functions as a satellite facility compared to the larger VCU Health Medical Center in Downtown Richmond, Virginia, our standard of care remains uncompromised. Equipped with essential departments including Emergency, Critical Care, Operating Room, and Acute Care Units, our hospital thrives as a vital healthcare hub.

The halls and pathways of VCU Tappahannock Hospital resonate with stories of seasoned staff dedicated to their craft, yet always extending a warm welcome to newcomers. The integration of VCU Health's expertise into the Middle Peninsula and Northern Neck communities has been transformative. With seamless coordination, trauma patients receive swift transport to the main facility, while complex surgeries are scheduled downtown.

We invite you to join our team and contribute to the well-being of the community close by and near to heart. It's an opportunity to make a meaningful difference, and perhaps, your best decision yet
