The Junior Accountant will assist with the daily accounting tasks and ensure the accuracy and efficiency of the company's financial operations. This role provides a great opportunity for a recent graduate or early-career professional to develop their accounting skills and grow within the organization.

• Assist in the preparation of financial statements and reports
• Perform general ledger accounting and reconcile accounts
• Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
• Assist with month-end and year-end closing processes
• Prepare and process payroll, including benefit deductions and taxes
• Maintain and update accounting records and files
• Assist in budget preparation and financial forecasting
• Conduct regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance
• Provide administrative support to the accounting department as needed

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
• Proven 2+ years of experience or internship in accounting or a related field
• Previous experience in Agriculture industry is preferred.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Excel, Famous, MS Nav, etc.) and general office software
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• High level of integrity and professionalism
