Analytic Methodologist, Senior

The Opportunity:

With cloud-based tools, faster GPUs, and the explosion of connected devices, geospatial data has more potential than ever. A skilled analyst can turn that data into geospatial intelligence (GEOINT) information. If that sounds like you, we have an opportunity for you to use your geospatial analysis skills to transform the client’s environment.

As an analytic methodologist, you’ll work with a team of analysts to extract meaning and context from a variety of sources. Using resources like DataExplorer, Mosaic, ARC GIS, and RemoteView, you’ll develop new ways to find patterns and connections to help solve intelligence problems. You’ll share your expertise through leadership and mentoring as we work through challenges and develop workflows.

This is an opportunity to broaden your skillset into areas like advanced analytical techniques through non-traditional data sources while developing products to improve the analytical process. You Have:

  • Experience using technology within the intelligence community to solve the customer's complex intelligence problems

  • Knowledge of ABI, SOM, automation, data analysis, and GEOINT missions

  • Active TS/SCI clearance; willingness to take a polygraph exam

  • Bachelor’s degree and 6+ years of experience within imagery, GEOINT, or all-source analysis, Master’s degree and 4+ years of experience within imagery, GEOINT, or all-source analysis or 10+ years of experience within imagery, GEOINT, or all-source analysis in lieu of a degree

Nice If You Have:

  • Experience creating and maintaining analytic models for a variety of data sources

  • Experience with SIGINT data sets and how to incorporate them into GEOINT analysis

  • Knowledge of JEMA and Brewlytics

  • Knowledge of programing languages such as Python, Java, or R

  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or PowerBI

Salary at Booz Allen is determined by various factors, including but not limited to location, the individual’s particular combination of education, knowledge, skills, competencies, and experience, as well as contract-specific affordability and organizational requirements. The projected compensation range for this position is $75,600.00 to $172,000.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Booz Allen’s total compensation package for employees. This posting will close within 90 days from the Posting Date.
