Welder/Fabricator Technician

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fabricator Technician to join our maintenance team. As a crucial member of our team, you will be tasked with performing welding and fabrication tasks to support maintenance operations, ensuring the continued functionality and safety of our equipment and facilities. This role requires a high level of proficiency in welding techniques, metal fabrication, and a strong commitment to quality and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

Welding Operations : Perform various welding tasks, including MIG, TIG, stick welding, and plasma cutting, to modify or repair components or equipment.

Fabrication Operations : Interpret blueprints, drawings, and sketches to fabricate components and products that meet the specifications of the operations.

Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities and daily business operations, as well as special projects.

Performs maintenance and repair tasks on company assets.

Perform PM work as assigned.

Perform Daily rounds for building checks.

Assist with critical system operations, Uninterrupted Power Source, Generator, HVAC, and Fire Safety Equipment.

Work with outside vendors for maintenance and upgrades to facility.

Must be willing to work OT and on call emergencies.

Qualifications :

Valid Georgia driver’s license

Welding/Fabrication certifications highly preferred or willing to obtain.

Basic computer skills and ability to manage tasks using any work order management system.

Basic knowledge in carpentry, plumbing, dry wall, painting, electrical, fire suppression, welding highly preferred.

Ability to work efficiently with little direction.

Must be comfortable with the use of a mobile device, specifically for tracking and management of daily tasks.

Effective written communication skills with demonstrated ability to document accomplishments, complete necessary reports & records, etc.

Must be able to work from ladders or personnel lifts at various heights.

Ability to work well with others cross functionally across departments.

Candidates must commit to follow all established safety protocols and use provided PPE.

Follow all LOTO procedures.
