The Asian Cuisine Deli Cook is responsible for cooking Asian cuisine dishes to order while providing superior guest service by ensuring the quality of food. Duties include preparation and cooking of all Asian dishes according to established recipes, handles routine cleaning, assisting in organizing the walk-ins and storage areas, helps with keeping the work area neat, clean, and organized. Performs additional job duties as assigned by the department manager.

Starting wage is $18.54/hr increasing to $19.70/hr at successful completion of the 90-day orientation period.

Education:
  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent is required.
  • Culinary training is preferred.

Experience & Requirements:
  • Prior experience cooking Asian dishes, prep cooking, and pantry cooking.
  • Must have experience grilling, broiling, and sauteing.
  • Must be capable of working on as many as 30 orders at one time.
  • Must be able to effectively coordinate cooking times with coworkers.

Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to stand for longer than 8 hours.
  • Must be knowledgeable about food preparation and temperatures.
  • Must be able to tolerate a smoke-filled environment.

Additional Requirements:
  • Must be able to pass a pre-employment illegal drug screen.
  • Upon offer must obtain Class IIIB Gaming License ($155-200).
  • Must be able to work all scheduled shifts to include day, swing, graveyard, and holidays.
