Bar Puller (2nd Shift 1:30p-10:00p)

Job Responsibilities A Bar Puller fills customer orders with a variety of bar stock inventory and packages products for shipment. SAFETY FIRST Retrieve material according to work tickets and verifying location, size, alloy, quantities and heat/lot. Organize pull tickets according to location and inventory type. Locate material into inventory racking system. Record inventory discrepancies. Construct standard and non-standard crates, skids, and boxes using powered hand tools. Prepare orders for shipment using scales and strapping equipment and apply appropriate shipping tags. Verify product against the order and performing a last piece inspection. Deliver material to designated areas using a forklift, side loader, and overhead crane. Stage orders in appropriate shipping and loading zones. Performing the duties of Material Handler, as necessary. Follow all ISO procedures and work instructions. Requirements High school graduate or equivalent preferred. History of working safely and productively at all times. Warehouse, material handling, and forklift operation experience strongly preferred. Ability to read and understand English in order to carry out work instructions. Team-oriented and dependable.
