MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS :
EDUCATION, CERTIFICATION, AND/OR LICENSURE:
1. Graduate of approved school and/or certification, ARRT and CT Certified. Must be CT Certified within 2 years of starting in CT
2. Must have West Virginia State Licensure.
3. CPR certification required.

1. Prepares and explains exams to patients
2. Performs all exams that pertain to specialty area.
3. Maintains proper radiation protections for all patients as established by set guidelines when appropriate.
4. Maintains current knowledge of procedures in specialty areas in order to perform assigned duties
5. Assists physician during specialty exam
6. Maintains all needed service of equipment
7. Process exams and make available on PACS
8. Demonstrates ability to administer medications and has knowledge of actions, route of administration, dosage, and side effects
9. Demonstrates appropriate patient/family/self-safety practices
10. Upon completion of exam, all paperwork is finished that deals with patient
11. Participates in the education / oversight of orientees, ancillary staff, and students in collaboration with the preceptor, manager, and/or designated education coordinator.

3. Interpersonal skills necessary in order to instruct and comfort patients and their families, and maintain effective contacts with a variety of hospital personnel, recognize and reinforce positive efforts of all coworkers and address personnel problems in a tactful and timely manner.
4. Analytical skills necessary in order to implement effective care and develop solutions to problems concerning patients’ mental and physical well-being.
5. Basic computer knowledge in order to document effectively.
6. Required to take call as scheduled.
