Demolition Technician

Job Summary

Arrowmark is seeking an experienced Demolition Tech to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in various types of construction, demonstrating proficiency in both hands-on work and technical understanding. This role requires a commitment to quality and safety, ensuring that all projects are completed to the highest standards.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

• Assists Foreman with daily duties.
• Assists with general demolition tasks.
• Use drills, hammers and electrical saws to break structures.
• Load, push, and unload wheelbarrow (full loads for a full day).
• Lift and carry heavy objects (50+ lbs.)
• May be required to work overtime.
• Regular and consistent attendance for the assigned work hours is essential.
• Values a teamwork environment and have an up-beat personality and self-motivated
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Experience and Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in Construction Demolition: Minimum 1 year (Required)
• Ability to read, listen to and follow simple to complicated instructions.
• Ability to read plans
• Ability to delegate tasks to laborers
• This is a safety sensitive position. The ability to pass a pre-employment drug test and basic physical required.
• Some assignments have additional screening requirements, such as background checks and/or additional drug screenings.

Physical Requirements

• Must be able to bend and stoop for long periods of time.
• May be subject to twisting, reaching, kneeling and lifting.
• May be subject to exposure to extreme weather conditions including cold and heat.
• Must be able to lift 50 lbs.
