Position Details

: Full-time, working 60-72 hours every two weeks 7:00 p.m. to 7:30 a.m. Every third weekend and every third holiday Physical location: St. Cloud Hospital

Job Responsibilities: 

Facilitate transfers into and out of CentraCare hospitals from referring facilities Document transfers to meet regulatory requirements Coordinate placement of patients from all access points to CentraCare hospitals, both internally and externally Collaborate with Medical Officer of the Day or designated hospitalist resource to ensure patient placement within CentraCare Provide hospital acceptance for St. Cloud Hospital Coordinate with designated staff at all CentraCare hospital sites to ensure bed and nurse availability

Qualifications: 

Graduate from a Nursing program Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in Nursing required within 3 years of hire Current licensure as a registered nurse in Minnesota required Minimum of 3 years of RN experience in acute care required Previous experience in a variety of nursing specialties preferred Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS Healthcare Provider card required, can be obtained upon hire. Exceptional organizational, communication, and customer service skills Experience with Epic and Microsoft Office preferred Previous experience using a PC based phone system preferred
