Caregiver - Personal Care Provider (PCP)

Hours

  • Day shifts, overnights, and weekends available

  • Full-time or part-time positions open

  • We work with your availability to put you in regular and recurring care shifts

Wage

  • Depending on experience. 

  • $19 starting hourly wage for shift longer than 2 hours

  • $25 for shifts under 2 hours

Job Description

Dignity Care is seeking warm-hearted people as Caregivers to provide care to senior/elderly clients.
We assist our clients with activities of daily living at the client's home or nursing home and help them maintain quality of life.
As a caregiver you will work with seniors doing tasks such as:

  • Assisting with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, and medication reminding 

  • Meal preparation

  • Light housekeeping, laundry, and organizing

  • Run errands and transportation

  • Companionship

  • Transfers and assisting client with walking

Qualifications

  • Ability to perform all essential job functions with or without accommodations

  • Reliable transportation (required)

  • Clean CAPS background check (required)

    • We provide paid training for all job duties, so don't worry if you have limited caregiving experience.

  • At least 18 years old (required)

  • Enjoys working in a one-on-one setting

  • Is eager to improve and continuously learn new skills

  • Has good oral and written English

  • Has excellent phone and communication skills

  • Has experience working in the home health industry

  • Dependable - more reliable than spontaneous

  • People-oriented - enjoys interacting with people and working on group projects

  • Adaptable/flexible - enjoys doing work that requires frequent shifts in direction

  • SEEKING STABLE AND LONG-TERM EMPLOYMENT - We have clients, and we need caregivers to fill shifts ongoing.
