PRODUCT DEVELOPMENT ENGINEER

Designs, develops, modifies and evaluates options and makes complex design recommendations to fulfill requirements. Assesses results for applicability, validity and conformance with design specifications. Performs moderate design and skilled technical tasks.

About the job:

Designs, develops, modifies, and evaluates options and makes complex design recommendations for product development or enhancement. Lead cross-functional team for the on-time completion of project/s. (50%)Analyzes equipment to establish operating data, conducts experimental tests, and evaluates results. (35%)Prepares reports and technical specifications. (10%)Responsible for planning, implementing, and managing compliance of manufacturing and production processes with internal and external safety, quality, and regulatory standards requirements (5%)Other duties as assigned.

About you:

Education: Bachelor or university degree in Material Science, Metallurgical, Mechanical Engineering or PhysicsExperience: at least 5 years of related work experience in R&D, NPD or NPI.Knowledge of Sputtering, Laser Trimming, Chip Capacitor and Resistor manufacturing processes, and metal joining technology like weldingExperience with global manufacturing companies preferredExperience in project managementSix Sigma Certification is an advantageKnowledgeable in AutoCAD, Inventor or similar applications.Advanced knowledge of MS OfficeStrong analytical skillsStrong communication skillsHigh attention to detail
