Position Title: CNC Machinist – 1st or 2nd Shift

Wage: $49,920/year

Shift: 1st or 2nd

Hours: 5:00am – 3:00pm or 3:00pm – 1:00am (Monday – Thursday)

CNC Machinist Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret blueprint specifications, including GD&T to determine procedures and order of operations
- Set up, adjust, and operate machine tools
- Able to write new programs or edit existing programs using Fanuc, HAAS and G-code is a plus
- Perform complex machine set-ups and critical operations 
- Operate various hand tools, power hand tools, and machine tools to make finish adjustments to parts
- Use and accurately read/interpret a variety of precision measuring devices to set up and adjust work and to verify conformance of work to drawing specifications
- Examine and feel surface of work piece for defects
- Sharpen cutting tools as needed
- Troubleshoot operating, material and tooling problems
- Perform general preventive maintenance work on tools and equipment
- Guide assisting personnel on correct procedures
- Process necessary documentation and paperwork for completed jobs
- Understand and follow quality requirements and standards for each different customer
- Perform in-process checks to ensure quality conformance and avoid rework

Requirements for CNC Machinist:
- High School Diploma or equivalent preferred; technical college degree desired
- At least three years of CNC machining experience preferred
- Able to work independently and in a team
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Able to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
- Good communication skills
