Job Position: Music Teacher for Violin, Piano, Voice, Guitar, and more (Part Time Position).

Job Details:
  • Lakeside Music Academy is an in-home music lesson school serving the suburbs of Minneapolis, Minnesota.
  • We provide in-home lessons for students within the comfort of their home. 

Responsibilities:
  • Design lessons according to the needs of individual students.
  • Prepare students for recitals.
  • Incorporate instrumental technique as well as music theory.
  • Help students progress musically.
  • Maintain a positive relationship with students, parents, and administration.

Qualifications:
  • Have a degree in music or be actively working toward one. / (or have experience in teaching private lessons)
  • Demonstrate knowledge of the music curriculum.
  • Have a reliable vehicle and be willing to drive to students' homes within the area.
  • Be willing and able to pass a background check.

About Lakeside Music Academy:

Our music school started in 2013 with just one traveling music teacher who taught piano lessons, voice lessons, and guitar lessons. We now have over 25 teachers and 20 instruments We wanted to create a way to connect families with real musicians, giving them access to a higher level of music education and an experience that they couldn’t find anywhere else. It has been an immense pleasure working with these talented musicians and seeing them inspire their students.
