**Education Qualifications:**

**This LPN will support our chemical dependency unit, assisting patients requiring mental health care in relation to substance abuse. The hours of this role will be 3:00PM - 11:00PM and working 56 hours every two weeks.**

As an LPN, you will provide nursing care to patients defined by the unit's scope of care. Under the direction of the RN, you will collaborate with physicians, the patient and family, and other members of the interdisciplinary team to meet each patient's individualized needs.

**Licensure/Certification Qualifications:**

Current Licensed Practical Nurse licensure in the state of employment.

Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification **or** obtained within 3 months of employment.

In accordance with Minnesota Rules 9530.6450 Subpart 1-B; all employees must be free of chemical use problems for at least one year immediately preceding their hiring and must sign a statement attesting to that fact. Chemical use problems are defined as: Receiving treatment for chemical use within the period specified for the position in the staff qualification requirements. Chemical use that has a negative impact on the staff member's job performance; Chemical use that affects the credibility of treatment services with clients, referral sources, or other members of the community; and Symptoms of intoxication or withdrawal on the job.

**Shift Rotation:** Permanent Eve Rotation (United States of America)

**Shift Start/End:** 3:00 PM/11:30 PM

**Hours Per Pay Period:** 56

**Compensation Range:** $19.58 - $26.57 / hour

**Union:** St Josephs AFSCME/MLNPA Local 105 (STJAFSCME)

**FTE:** 0.7

**Weekends:** Every Other
