SUMMARY
As a Deposit Operations Floater you will have the opportunity to work among all departments in Deposit Operations supporting various processes in order to fulfill the daily department responsibilities. The Deposit Operations Floater will assist the Deposit Operations Departments by filling in for other team members, as necessary, and providing relief during heavier work cycles in the various departments. The Deposit Operations Floater will ensure continuity of key processes in order to sustain normal banking operations. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
High school diploma or equivalent Bachelor’s degree in Business, Accounting, or Finance desired or combination of education and work related experience. 3-6 years of experience in financial institution, banking operations, or related field preferred. Excellent working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Excel, Word, etc.) and general office equipment, as well as, ability to navigate computer programs with ease. Strong understanding of state and federal banking rules and regulations, Keen understanding of operational processes and procedures in order to support multiple departments Excellent verbal and written communication skills in order to communicate effectively with management and peers between multiple departments. Excellent time management and organizational skills; must possess abilities to multi-task and switch between functions and processes with ease. Promotes teamwork and camaraderie among peers. May require flexibility to work abnormal business hours, including but not limited to overtime and weekends as necessary. Periodic travel may be required for training or conversion purposes Participate and complete all required compliance training, including Bank Secrecy Act/anti-money laundering training, as well as internal and external training programs, online training, meetings, and seminars/conferences, etc.JOB FUNCTIONS
Perform daily tasks on an as needed bases for the following departments: ACH & Cash Ops Department, Balance Control Department, ATM support & Card Operations Department, Deposit Account Maintenance Department, Deposit Documentation Department, Research Returns Department, Wire Transfer Department. May also include Interactive Teller Department. In coordination with Team Leads, responsible for ensuring continuity of daily processes and procedures for all Deposit Operations Departments by filling in for team members, as necessary, or providing relief during heavy work cycles in order to effectively support department needs Ensure work assignments are completed accurately and in a timely manner. Receive and service branch phone call and emails from bank representatives across all functions when serving in that area of responsibility. Maintains a good working relationship with all teams, and provides support to colleagues. Make recommendations for department changes in an effort to streamline processes and to reduce expense/and or loss. Review published branch operational procedures to ensure information provides clear and accurate instruction that compliments departmental procedures. May assist with on the job training. Assist with special projects as needed.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY
This position does not manage employees.

This is a full-time position that requires schedule flexibility to work evenings and weekends as needed.
TRAVEL
This position requires up to 5% travel.
