Responsibilities
- Install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment
- Troubleshoot equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment
- Handle wiring, electrical and electronic components, and circuit testing
- Read and interpret drawings and schematics
- Identify and repair malfunctions in electrical and electronic systems
- Complete preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when working with electricity
Requirements
- Minimum of 3 years of journeyman experience in the electrical or electronic manufacturing industry
- Journeyman's license or certification preferred
- Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
- Ability to use electrical and electronic test equipment for troubleshooting
- Knowledge of electrical and electronic components and circuitry
- Strong attention to detail and ability to identify malfunctions
- Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures and guidelines consistently
