Responsibilities
  • Install, test, and maintain electrical and electronic equipment
  • Troubleshoot equipment using electrical and electronic test equipment
  • Handle wiring, electrical and electronic components, and circuit testing
  • Read and interpret drawings and schematics
  • Identify and repair malfunctions in electrical and electronic systems
  • Complete preventative maintenance on equipment to minimize downtime
  • Follow all safety procedures and guidelines when working with electricity

Requirements

  • Minimum of 3 years of journeyman experience in the electrical or electronic manufacturing industry
  • Journeyman's license or certification preferred
  • Strong proficiency in reading and interpreting drawings and schematics
  • Ability to use electrical and electronic test equipment for troubleshooting
  • Knowledge of electrical and electronic components and circuitry
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify malfunctions
  • Ability to work in a team environment and follow safety procedures and guidelines consistently
