Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Job Overview:

The Nuclear Medicine (NM) Technologist performs quality diagnostic and therapeutic NM procedures on all patient populations of the hospital. 

Qualifications:

Required:

HS Diploma or GED Well versed in the principles of radiation safety so that radioisotopes are prepared and administered in a safe manner Proficient in using PACS and teleradiology Possess good communication skills to effectively interact with physician, patients and coworkers

Certifications and Licenses Required:

NJ Certification as a Nuclear Medicine Tech and ARRT (NM) 

Scheduling Requirements:

Per Diem

Essential Functions:

Perform Nuclear Medicine procedures Assisting and transporting patients Performing data entry for exam tracking and dose management Managing supplies Other departmental duties as assigned
